Tickets are available now for the Prep School Production…
Emil and the Detectives will be performed on the evenings of 21st, 22nd and 23rd June at 7.00pm in the Assembly Hall.
Prior to the performances, there will be a Prep School Art Exhibition, accompanied by live music from the Prep Soul Band, in the courtyard next to the Transport Centre. It should prove to be an exciting evening celebrating the talents of all our Prep School students.
Emil and the Detectives is the tale of young Emil Tischbein, who travels to Berlin carrying some money that his mother, Ida, has saved to give his grandmother. On the train to Berlin, he meets the mysterious Mr Snow who drugs him with a slice of apple. Emil wakes up to find his money – and Mr Snow – gone. Lost in the big city, he enlists the help of some of the children who live there – the ‘detectives’ of the play’s title. Together, they set out to solve the mystery of Mr Snow’s true identity and to get the money back before Emil’s long-suffering mother finds out.
These will be ticketed performances: you will need a ticket for everyone who wishes to attend. Tickets are free for Harrow Hong Kong students, but cost HK$50 for each parent and visitor ticket. All money raised from the sale of tickets will be donated to the School’s six charities.
Tickets are being distributed at The Temple (for students, during lunchtimes) and at the Upper School Office (for parents and visitors) on a first come, first served basis.
We will provide updates on ticket availability on the School website, and on this blog.
