House Drama Competition 2016

This year’s House Drama Competition was launched this week, with each house being given 3 weeks to produce an outstanding performance which will be shown on the last day of this term. After the high standard of last year’s competition, expectations are running high for another quality event.

The Prep Houses will be performing scenes from an adaptation of Treasure Island, while the Senior Houses have been given versions of Grimm’s Tales and other folk tales – these scripts are close to the way the original stories were told, rather than the Disneyfied versions some may be more familiar with.

Each house will now use their spare time, along with ECA time in the final week of term, to cast, block, rehearse and polish their performances ready for Friday 18th March.

Exciting times!
